Default I be Happy

Just picked up my 1st Jag. 2009 XF with 53K miles.
Issues I am facing:
1. Speaker in center of dash--plastic is broken and dash material is slipping to the back.
2. Brakes seemed fine and after 300 miles they are shimming as in warped rotors. Rotors replace at 38K miles so thinking the previous owner was hoodwinked. What are the best rotor for a Daily Driver. Pads also.
Other than that, I can find nothing wrong with the car. \
FYI---My Dodge SRT-10 qc was almost identical 0-60 and 1/4 mile speeds with the Jag. It seems to me that the Jag for the first but the Jag seems to me a lot quicker----but at 75 yr old, things don't always appear as you think.
Any suggestions would much appreciated.

You would be better posting this in the forum for your car, which you say is a 2009 XF. This means it is an X250 model, (the Jaguar internal designation). These were made 2007-2015.

That is if size does matter, isn't it?

Ha, I am 6'5" and 265 pounds so size does counts sometimes. Getting in is a little twisty but once in she feels really great. Seat so far back that there is literally 3" leg room but I did not buy it for passengers, cepting the bride.
