Hello to all. First post. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2019 XJR sport 3.0. Feel like I have a full grasp of the options and standard equipment except for one thing

The car that Im leaning hard towards has the illumination package. My question is will the dash and center console have the same blue accent lighting as the higher trim models (portfolio, 50, collection ect?)

I look forward to being a somewhat active member of this group (as I have been on other enthusiast boards) to share my experiences and ask newb questions as well

 

First, welcome and early congrats.

About the trim rings, yes they are blue, I think they are a little less intense than say the sill plates. I think its a good thing.

My car did not have this package, but I have been adding it all to the car. You can see a lot about the trim rings here in my post, probably more detail than you even need to know.

Lots to learn here. Pics of a new acquisition are always welcome too.

I guess I didn’t ask my question very well

i understand where the phosphorus blue lighting accents are with the illumination package. What I didn’t do a very good job of is asking if a R sport will have the same blue accent lights that surround the shift knob trim and other trim pieces on the console

 

all trims have the same console/trim lighting, illumination package just adds sills and vents lighting

 

Not what your asking but do take a drive at night before buying the car?
The dash vent's blue halo's reflect in both outside rear view mirrors and I find it distracting but am use to it now.
Strange that Jaguar never caught that too? Maybe they did but could not solve it?
