iPod track display on instruments
Something I can figure out on my new-to-me 2010 XJ is how to get iPod or USB track display on the instruments.
When it's playing music it just says "iPod" on the left hand dial and then "Track 6" etc. rather than the track name. The main touchscreen displays the track name though. Same with USB it just says "USB".
Is there something I'm missing in the settings?
Thanks

Oh well. Seems a bit of a waste of the digital instruments to not have this feature.
I get the impression that the digital instruments only exist because someone at JLR said "Let's have a screen instead of instruments" and the team went "yeah, cool" then they just did it with no thought for how it might be used.
It's no biggie to look to the left though.

When I got my SuperSport from the dealer I contacted JLR US costumer "support" and they said that that was not in the software configuration and that's the last I heard from them on that subject.
Not only that, but they display the CD Artist and CD Title but still only display each track as "Track 6" or "Track 11" instead of the name of the song. That doesn't make much sense either, honestly.
This threw me for a minute until I checked your location! We look to the right for the info!
And, YES, Jaguar completely dropped the ball on taking advantage of the dash screen.
