Jag crank???
Evening all,
just swapped my engine after catastrophic failure, I have the 5.0 supercharged, but I am now gettingP0016 and P0017 and restricted performance
I've changed the crank sensor and all 4 cam sensors, any ideas? I also get a misfire on cylinder 1, 5 and 7 at idle
Please help

Well, the misfire on the cylinders may be because of either a bad fuel pressure sensor, a bad high pressure fuel pump (there are 2 on the car), or when installing the engine, you removed the crossover fuel line and when you put it back on, you got some dirt/dust into the high pressure fuel line and clogged 1 or more fuel injectors. This is where if you can run the engine for a short period of time, use SDD or other device to see what your fuel rail pressure is. If it is normal for idle, then odds are, your fuel pressure sensor and pumps are good and that leaves the injectors. Beyond that, I would need to get home and get back to my resources to look up with the codes mean and provide more guidance from there.
Not a lot of info to go on.
Do you know anything about the engine that replaced the original one, and if so - could you include that info?
When you installed the replacement, did you run into any problems putting in the injectors, coils, plugs, connections - did anything throw you any challenges getting it to fit?
Basically, from the info in your post, it's either electrical, mechanical, or something that gets fuel to the cylinders.
Or I guess it could just be bad gas.
