So I recently ordered the aluminum parts for the coolant leak. My mechanic has put everything together but the is connector hose apparently doesn’t fit he says that put an oversized o-ring there (I’m guessing in attempt to resolve the issue idk much about cars) but he said that I need to find something to fit that aluminum part because even when he gets it all the way in there it still has a leak from the hole. Any answers????
Yes just replace that hose. It tends to fail anyway and it's not too expensive. I don't see the two side tabs in your lower picture? Maybe they are broken off?

Purchase the hose your holding from Jaguar, that one may have shrunk from heat ,around $35
Update I ordered a new hose and it’s the same results. We believe the aftermarket piece may be slight off in measurements or something. So now I’m having to order a new piece entirely to see if that resolves the issue.
