Default Jaguar X351 XJ supercharged Drag Racing time!

Took my 13 XJ SC to a drag strip A few weeks ago. Car is fully stock besides the upgraded sc pump which seems to have zero effect on performance. Only thing that makes a difference is the ECU reflash. No 1/4 tracks available nearby so 1/8th mi is the next best thing. Barona Ca track is a higher density track so car would be a 1 -2 tenths faster near sea level.
Beat some fast cars and also set new personal and possible world record for fastest 1/8th mi on XJ modded or not at 7.8sec 1/8th mi. Cars beat that night ; 2020 Apr tuned Audi S6, modded BMW 340, Pontiac GTO with supercharger and mods, 2006 c63 with headers and a tune, some mustang and some fast hatchback . Not too bad for a big fat Sedan

Nice runs, I'm thinking this is probably one of the only XJ's on the forum to post actual track times.
Can you post the time sheet?
How are you launching the car?
What tires?

I am super impressed by how easily you beat the C63 Mercedes (in 2006 they were 6.3L trim, not like the later, smaller turbo'ed versions).

I think the X351's secret-sauce, supercharger is underrated by non-jaguar admirers.
The 1.9 Litres of additional airflow from the S/Charger through an already great 5 litre V8 makes it a missile for its size. 👍

Thank you! You got to remember though this is probably the fastest XJ sc , xj575, xjr And it's still running stock supercharger pulley. Spent quite a bit of time tweaking the ECU programming on this one as well! Gained in the range of 140 horsepower over stock.

Before I bought my XJ, I had an F Type, and before that hoped to buy a C63. Awesome times, affirms my choice, especially since C63 prices back then were way higher than supercharged XJs.

I love AMG cars I have an older w210 e55 myself still but the Jag has a lot more potential than the c63 as far as power
