That was a lot of drama for a dead battery! A lesser one of us would have given in long ago probably! Lucky it was, in the end, super easy. On an unrelated note, the top about using the little pull tab to hold the spare and batter lid/trunk floor up was a nice surprise I had no idea about until just now!

🤣🤣🤣 drama that could be avoided. Someone should of told me from the start.…. No wake up…. Car baterry!
But I feel like Iike when it comes to electricity and circuits.…ALL Jag owners are scared of it and don't have a lot of know how on the programming part.
My biggest take on the story? How to correctly jump start and how to.…. Store a car with battery off and closed everything on it. And for that…. Thanks for all the guys who wrote!

Another problem. Another One. I had for 20 minutes the car locked, but with driver window open. I did it so I can see if interior lights still working on it after car closed and asleep. Lights didn't work, I had the key in a rfid pouch 10 meters away ana I pushed the start button. At second or there the alarm started. Got the key, unlocked it and Tryed to do it a scan diagnose with icarsoft. It requires a waken car and I pushed the power button. Key was in the car….. But, nothing….. Key not found. At all. Got the second key…. With fresh battery.…. Still key not found, but key is in the Car and no matter where I put it it doesn't see it. Brake pedal pressed with key at the trunk button…. Nothing still. Key not found.
Ideas? I still have the driver window open and.… how to close it? 🤣🤣🤣
Or I am stupid or the Jag is messing with me

Not sure what caused it. I believe these are what are referred to as "electrical gremlins". As far as the window, I am unfamiliar with the iCarSoft platform, but many scanners that are bidirectional can run a routine to raise the windows.
