Is there a way to locate misplaced key fob for our 2020 f type?

Buy a new one. The lost one will magically appear shortly after you purchase the new one.

Having JUST replaced one on my '17 XJ...I can tell you that they are EXPENSIVE. $650 USD from my dealer.

Just the emergency key on the inside of the FOB costs more than $80. It is cut to the car's VIN.
