Massive thanks to XJ-SS
You may have seen that XJ-SS completed a retro-fit of off picnic tables to his 2011 X351.
Inspired by his efforts I tried to fit the same.
After buying all the parts for my 2012 XJ SWB, there is no-way they fit! Jaguar must have changed the design to accomodate the rear seat entertainment system.
I have to thank XJ-SS for all his help, although, I failed in this project. Xj-SS answered my PM's very quickly and gave me directions to solve my dilemma. Thank you Sir.
On the plus side, if anyone wants a set of walnut tables with NAA (ivory) trim seat backs please PM me!

On other news, the 575 came out off of its CarCoon today!

Thermo,
The seat frames on my '12 were non-compatible with the table mounts. Specifically, there was nowhere to bolts the tables to the frame. The "new' seat back covers were also the wrong size and shape.
If you want to test for compatibility, remove your current seat back...If you can do this by unclipping the 'wings' at the seat pivot point, then pull the seat back out and then down to remove, I don't think it'll work! Those that have made it work have struggled with the upper mounts on the seat back.
