Default Missing left air intake hose connector - car safe to drive?

I just popped the hood open and noticed that left side air intake hose connector (made out of cloth material) is missing. Right one looks like it needs replacement too but it is still intact. The question is: is it safe to drive the vehicle around for a while? I have ordered replacements but it might take 2 weeks to arrive. Also, forgot to mention that I know very little about automobile engines in general.

Those tubes are before the MAF sensor and even before the air filter so it doesn’t matter. They just guide cooler air toward the air filter/ intake.
