Talking This months Motor Trend gives all 2012 Jags 4 out of 5 stars

Check out Motor Trend online. Their new issue rates the 2012 models and all three Jaguar models received 4 out of 5 stars. The XJ beat the S class which had 3 1/2 stars the A8 3 1/2 stars and the 7 series 3 1/2 stars. And for you XF owners the said it had more personality the german cars. Take a look. YAY!!

And there weren't a lot of 5 stars.........

New Taglines for XJ advertisements.

Cool Fact: The British royal family and prime minister maintain a fleet of Jaguar XJs.

SUM UP: Good enough for the royal family. ****

Actually pwl had useful postings on occasion ... this new guy appears to be just a troll going all negative out of the box.

I'm on month three with mine, and the roof-popping has yet to rear its ugly head.

Maybe I should start a thread that goes like, "OMG!! Roof popping.....I haven't heard it!!!1!!!"

So it looks as if my front bumper sensor was a license plate issue and not a Jag issue. But it wasn't the dealer that found that out it was the place I ordered it from. Move the plate and havent had an issue yet. I think issue which I am seeing here in Germany as well is if your dealer's tech's are not properly trained things that shouldn't be big issues become so. You have some people on this board who have had the roof popping issue fixed and some who have tried to have it fixed and it came back. That to me sounds like a Technician issue.

doubt you own one. If you do, you must be from a different planet. May be XJ not perfect, but hey, may be you are driving a Yugo and are dreaming you are driving an XJ? Not sure. Well, at least we know your sentiment an how you feel about the car. Thanks for sharing.

I think that aceeg is actually doing (impersonating) pwl! What is confusing about this article which I posted is that Motor Trend gave the XJL 4 stars over the 3 1/2 they gave the S class, 750, A8 and big Lexus. Can't remember it's number it's so boring. But Motor Trend turns around and does a test drive with the smaller cars, the CLS & A7 and ranks it third. Unfortunately you have to take these magazines with a grain salt.
