Is it correct that when the car is moving, you cannot input destinations into Nav via touchscreen - it "greys out" similar to a Lexus? What about other functions, such as scrolling through ipod, being able to see ipod or CD data, etc? On our Lexus, all of that info and ability is greyed out as well when moving. For example, when at a stop the Lexus displays all tracks on a cd - but when moving you can no longer see the track list.

 

I can still use the "My music" and move up and down, play ect.
The nav is disabled. You CAN use the Nav with the voice input when you are in motion.
Works good for me as I cant spell worth a darmmmmwew.....

weird, the nav works for me on my XJ SC and the regular XJ loaner from the dealer, u sure you didn't press any button to disable it?

 

Use Voice comand. It works the best. Works great and every time. After using a couple of times you really will get the hang of it and see how easy it is.

 

But unfortunately you have to choose the regional voice. I tried it with the sexy British girl's voice and nothing works. LOL
