Default Need help front upper driver side control arm

Hello everyone.
I am replacing the driver side upper control arm. I got everything off but one bolt on the right side keeps hitting the coil spring, not matter where I move the coil to still doesn't come out, is blocked by the coil. I saw a post where the straight arm can be remove in order to drop the coil housing. What exactly do I lose to drop the straight bar?
Thanks in advance.
Pedro

I recently did the right had one on mine and unbolted the coil spring but yeah, had the same issue. Ended up disconnecting some of the lower suspension assembly to get the spring to go lower and that did the trick. Just make sure everything is torqued back to spec when finished.

Fossberry,
I finally got it, I had to remove the lower straight bar to give me some room and slide the suspension spring assembly to the side. Now it needs an alignment, the steering is crooked. But it feels solid.
Thanks for the help.
Pedro
