Hey Gentlemen!

2011 XJ 5.0 SC

Have codes P2406 & P240C --> When i try to fill my gas tank it wont let me fill it full!
Keeps stopping me at about half a tank. Don't notice any other issues asides from light on dash.

Can anyone provide any input?

Hello, you should find other threads on this, including my own. I had the exact scenario and codes a year or so ago. It was the Evap. vapor canister/pump that had failed. In my case, the fuel filler neck had collapsed, as well. Unfortunately, it was not a cheap repair, as it entailed dropping the fuel tank.

 

Filler neck collapsed? How can that even happen?
