Default Poor Service - Columbia, MD

I know this is very dependent on individual dealerships but I called 2x to the Columbia, MD Jaguar service department and still no return call and no one there to take my call. I left a message as instructed but nothing so far. This was yesterday morning I left the initial message. I'll tell you the Jaguar service is just so **** poor. It really, really turns me off to the entire brand.

My Airbag light came on. Then it went off, then came on again. Been like this for a couple days. I want to take it in since I have only 2 months left on the warranty. Who wants to bet they will give me excrement since the light probably will be off when they get it even though a code must be stored. I was thinking of trading this on a new Jag from them but I am really rethinking this due to their poor service. Sad. So little effort would go such a long way.

Also the last time I went in complaining that the battery is always reading as low (dash message) they tested it as good and said to drive the car more. I told them I did but they had nothing but that smart answer.

JagGate, you may end up needing to drive a little further to get a dealership that will listen. I know you have a few options in your area. Odds are, the next nearest would be Towson's Corner. From what I know of them, they should do what you are after.

Guys, once you're out of warranty, consider going to English Auto in Odenton. Small business formed by the Service Mgr and Chief Mechanic from former Laurel Jaguar. Excellent work, 2/3 the price. Been going there for the last 10 years.
Annapolis Jag I won't recommend.

Go to a local auto zone or similar and have them test the battery
Sounds like that's the issue
It can cause intermittent issues like the airbag light

Have you tried a trickle charger? Wonder if battery is good but just not charged enough? The battery low warnings suggest that the car doesn't agree its good. If you have a multimeter try measuring the voltage when car is off before use. You may find it's just undercharged

Else do you have a better dealer you can try?

Oh yeah once every month or so it goes on the charger overnight to restore the battery to full capacity. Usually once I see the "start car immediately" warning I put it on the charger that night. It goes 4-6 weeks on a full charge before I need to charge it again.

There are several other dealers I can use I was thinking of going to the Rockville one.
