Got my 2012 Portfolio just over 2 weeks ago and loving it. But more on that later

I noticed that, on the front seats, there is a sizeable gap between the bottom of the seatback cushion and the rear of the bottom cushion. This gap is on both front seats. It is big enough for me to slide my hand (sidewards) into the gap.

Before I call the dealer, can someone with a Portfolio kindly check their front seats and let me know if the gap is the same as mine?

I believe my supercharged car has the same seats as a portfolio. No gap.

 

Well, I now have the answer to my question.

I mentioned it to my wife and she said 'perhaps the gap is there because you have the seat cushion extended all the way out'. She was right! I put the cushion all the way back and the gap is now minimal! I should have asked her in the first place

2012 xjl portfolio here as well. I was intrigued So I looked and have the same gap. I have the seat extended all the way out also. So no problem. However. Roof rattle is back again after the 2 nd fix was done on July 13 2012.
