Quick moneysaving tip for doing your own oil change.
Instead of buying a dedicated pump and adapter, I used one of these when changing the oil on my 5.0 XJ.

putting a zip tie around 1" from the end of the intake tube gave a nice, snug seal on the draw pipe under the oil cap.
Better than crawling around under the car looking for the drain plug, and worked like a charm.
