Default Rear door compatibility between 2011 and 2014

I need to source a rear door for my 2011 XJL. I see different part numbers for the 2011 vs the 2014+ in the parts lookup. Does anyone know for certain if the two are interchangeable? I am thinking maybe the only difference is the soft close feature?
Thanks

Well, Ordered the the 2016 replacement door from a local salvage yard. Will let everyone know if it works out. Fingers crossed!

Does the 2016 happen to have a black suede headliner?

So here is the information I promised:
The 2014 and up doors are the exact same dimensions and hinge mounting points. The difference is in the latch mechanism and the mounting of the latch mechanism. The 2014 plus had the soft close feature that required a completely different latch assembly. The mounting holes for the new latch are also in a different location. I tried to use it as is, but electrically the 2014 door is very different and the existing harness in the car does not connect up directly. So time to reverse engineer! All I had to do was to remove the latch assembly from the old door and make a template of the the three mounting holes in the old door and transfer those holes to the new door. I was very leery of doing this, but it actually was quite simple. The holes I drilled lined up perfectly! I swapped over the old door wiring harness to the new door and BOOM, I have a perfectly fitting door from a 2016 on my new to me 2011. Hope this helps any one contemplating this.
