I found a sticker on the frame of door : "authorized jaguar modification 5038 " dated 2014 on my 2011.
Does someone has an idea of the meaning? Thanks

 

Is the paint the original colour?

British Racing Green, Code 5038

 

the car is actually Black and doesn't show any color change in the service history.

 

authorized jaguar modifications are typically recalls. I don't know of a 5038 but there is a J038
