Took to dealer because of red warnings telling me; Ignition on, driver side door open and an occasional yellow light telling me Blind spot on drivers side not working They are going to replace the door latch Is this what is causing these warnings
and when I do go in for my appointment what else should I have them check in case this is not the answer. Many thanks, Maria

 

Sounds like they're on the right track to me.

 

interior lights now flash or stay on just the center one above the console. Warning seat belt bell rings even when seat belt is connected. Rings for at least 5 to 7 minutes then stops. Many times car won’t start says smart key not found even though it’s right there takes a couple of tries

IMHO I would suspect your battery is the issue. How new is it and if was replaced was it an AGM type of battery?

While a Jaguar Dealer can do this and stocks the proper batteries. auto parts stores like Autozone or Walmart have battery services and are much less expensive.and will install a proper battery AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt). The secondary battery is part of the Stop/Start system and if that "feature" is still working or your glad it isn't working (a lot of us didn't like that feature) that is when its replaced and in your situation that battery is available at the dealer @ $400.. Keep in mind a dealer usually charges @ $500 to replace a battery and the auto parts stores are @ $160.

 

If you still have the original battery, it's time to replace. (probably not the cause of your problems)

my independent mechanic who was spectacular
