I am in the process of converting all interior and exterior courtesy lights to led bulbs all are done with the exception of the front overhead console rear license plate lights. Could some post a how to on removing the front overhead console and rear license plate lense?

The Parts Catalogue often has very useful diagrams to help with things like this:

Removing front overhead console?-x351-overhead-console.jpg
(click on the image to enlarge it)

The Console is secured with 2 clips (item 4 - arrowed in blue) on either side at the rear. These appear to be spring clips and it should therefore be possible to pull down the rear of the Console gently and evenly to release them from the roof panel.

The Console is located at the front with 2 tongues (arrowed in red). After the rear edge has been released, pulling the Console rearwards will release these from the roof panel.

Take care with the section I've arrowed in green. It may require something like a thin screwdriver blade to release these.

Hey GGG I have done this and all you stated is correct about the clips but you should reverse front and back as the clips are toward the rear corners and the tongues are at the front (see the lamps are by the red arrows)!

Thanks - I've corrected front/rear in my post to put it this way round.

Not too bad as I was doing this from theory and you've had the advantage of doing it for real!
