JCamp Topix is the unadvertised site used by Jaguar relay TSB's and other info. It allows you to build an account based on your VIN number and then you able to see what stuff applies to you are and more importantly if you PAY you can actually pull stuff down. I paid for like a 15 dollars which gave me a few hours I believe and just started hitting the print button.

My Jag also pops under the same circumstances. I believe all of them do but many owners just "put up" with it. Most don't seek out a Jaguar forum to post their complaints or observations. Hopefully they'll find a fix that works long term.

Same senario bro jaguar gave me a brand new car roof pop came back, fixed it kept in shop over a week, after 1000 mi roof pops are worse than ever all over the roof .
When I go up a drive way I put my hand on the glass roof and can feel it move.
Now that can't be safe.

After 6 attempts and a replacement car they are now telling me Jaguar has a new bulletin and a new kit to fix the roof. The kit won't be available until mid October. I am pissed but will keep you posted.

popping xjl supersport
I have had the same issue with the popping roof, had it in the shop now 4 times for the popping roof, still not fixed to my satisfaction, so i left it there and having my lawyer get me out of this car. for $115000, this car should be as quiet as can be.....dont' stand for there temporary fixes or hot days, cold days excuses....the roof is defective and they need to go back to the drawing board on this one!!!!!!!!!!

There is a fix for the poping noise. Forget the crappy bullentin Jaguar put out. What I've been doing to the cars is loosing up the sunroog frame bolts a 1/4 of a turn and the poping and knocking noises are gone. Also the front roof glass needs to adjusted to, so it doesn't rub against the frame of the sunroof. Even though that these roofs will not knock, or pop anymore, you will still have what appears to be a rubbing noise. I haven't figured what this noise is yet. Jaguar wont pay enough diag time for it, so..... Let Jaguar "engineers" figure out.

I hadn't noticed this discussion in the past, because our first XJ, a 2012, which VERY sadly, got "totaled", didn't seem to have the "roof pops" issue. But our second one, a 2016, seems to "pop" once in a while, when the outside temps get in the mid-low 40sF. We store it in the winter, to keep it out of the road salt, so I don't know what it would do in really cold weather, but this past fall, while there was no snow to be had, the temps did drop, and when we went over a couple of dips in the road, I did hear the dreaded "pop".....
