Default Sunroof Blind

Whilst closing my sunroof blind it sounded like something snapped and now can't get the blind to close. When I press the close button the motor runs and the roller rolls but the blind doesn't move.

Does anybody have a diagram of the sunroof and blind mechanism so I can get a better idea of how this works. Is there a step by step process to get this repaired. I assume it involves removing the headliner.

I had this exact thing happen. Fixed under warranty so not much help to you there, however, I posted about it at the time to list parts etc. Try searching this forum.

I managed to fix the blind. One of the feet had broken so that was replaced. The only issue I now have is the blind is sagging very slightly on the right hand side whilst on the left hand side it is tighter. I have performed the reset procedure but didn't fix this problem. Does anybody have any ideas.

Here are a few documents showing how to install the feet if they are broken. I bought mine from a Jaguar dealership.

Sorry in your video I saw 2 problems?
The back shade does not close all the way?
The front shade appears broken and the motor is making noise but the shade is not moving? Is the front shade stuck in the open position?

Maybe I do not understand?

You need to replace the motor of the sunroof and probably left, right or both feet. Mine needed the left feet and the motor. 1400 euro at the dealership.
I bought the new roof for the same price and got rid of the rust and cracking noise from the sunroof. It was exactly the same price ( 1400 euro ) from the donor car from Florida ( 2014 MY ).
You won't be able to fix that easily as it requires a lot of work ( dealership calculated 9 hours total ) and spare parts.
