The hole is a rust going through, not a drain hole.
Hi, my friend has a rusty issue in his sunroof, the technician said X351 doesn't has a drain hole at the sunroof, is it true ? If so, how does it work during raining days ? He has a lot of rust now. See attached.

Curtis This is the 3rd time you have asked the same question and the answer has not changed. There are only 2 drains in the sunroof at the rear.some pre 2013 XJs had rusting issues in the sunroof. Your issue is a result of sever neglect and the entire assembly needs to be replaced. We are here to aid as much as possible and re-posting the same question in hopes of getting a different response may only result in some of us ignoring you.and we do not want that.

 

Hi, XJsss, this thread is the first thread I've asked, but no reply so I put another thread with a more specific question (where is the drain hole), then you replied to that quickly which is much appreciated and it does helped my friend to find the holes. However I don't understand why you said 3 times as there are only two threads I put. Anyway sorry for the two threads with similar questions. If necessary pls delete this one. Thanks

 

No problem and I am sorry that we did not respond faster. don't know if you are able to connect to the site i'm adding. But if you can you can purchase a subscription that has all the workshop procedures and part numbers for many XJs.
