On both the X308 and X350, I would recommend doing a hard reset, but with the aux battery for the X351, I don't know if one can be done.

Start with the lists of fuses in the owner manual and then see if you might have a blown fuse. My guess is that the fuse will be in the fuse box behind the rear seat arm rest. Fold down the arm rest and there is a Velcro panel to get access to those fuses. The owner manual will tell you which fuse to check.

Just a note, my 2010 XJL doesn’t have a Velcro panel behind the armrest. For mine I have to remove the entire back seat. I could cut the leather/cloth to create a panel and add my own Velcro, but thought I’d point it out in case you also don’t have this feature.

All the best.

That's interesting!
My 2014 XJR does have the Velcro panel even though I stupidly did not check the first time so I had to remove the back seat to find it!
I would consider cutting a slit for access too.

It would be nice of you could tell us how you fixed it so others with the same fault can fix their cars.

Yes, all I did was Disconnected the Main Battery located in the trunk for 5mins and connected back..This condition must be met for this to work
Your sunroof motor must not make any noise or movement (completely dead) when you turn on your ignition key.
