Default Supercharger bypass actuator

When cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body I managed to break the nipple connecting the actuator to the air intake. The engine is running fine and not throwing any codes. Can i just plug the hole on the intake and leave the hose loose in the engine bay. I think it should be fine since the hose is just for venting to atmospheric pressure? What do you guys think I should do. Hopefully I don't have to buy a new intake tube for 200 euros.

You could repair the broken air intake hose nipple with suitable size bulkhead hose clamp what is just screwed on place with nut inside. Cheap and proper fix. These should be well available in your local part store. (search google "bulkhead hose fitting" ) These are used all kind of tanks and bottles, when hoses or piping need to be attached.
