Default 2011 XJ upper grille emblem (badge) removal

Has anyone removed or try to take this part of the upper grille badge assembly off. Can it be removed or is it made to the grille and can't be removed. Thank you for your response and input

The emblem badge is definitely separate from the grill, and removable. I replaced my original black badge for the red emblem years back. I recall it just being glued (double-sided tape) with locator pins. Dental floss and heat from a blow dryer or heat gun will help.

The Badge itself is removable, I was reading OP post to remove the housing where the Emblem sits.
