I have a 2011 x351 xj portfolio
Had it about a yr now and very happy with it and it’s on about 65k miles
Last week i had the rear suspension fail
The left rear went first then the rest dropped to the floor
I bought the diagnostic software online and scanned the codes and it diagnosed that the rear shock solenoid had gone open circuit (and I had heard that that can happen)
So I’ve ordered a replacement (second hand but worth a punt at 150 against a new one at 400-500!!
While I had it out I tested the resistance across the pins on the shock and it came out at 2ohms
Manual says the circuit should be 2-3 so I’m a little worried that my replacement shock is going to do jack didley squat!!
Any advice greatly appreciated thanks
