Ugh no, please no.

I like the 10 inch display but the thick bezels on this look horrible.

Bezel and buttons look straight out of an economy sedan. The Chinese are really obsessed with putting this TESLA SCREEN in every car. I see this everywhere.

I'd rather just have an android screen that fits the existing design.

It's not an easy installation for most DIYers, and has been covered extensively in the X150 (2007-2015 XK/XKR) Forum. See:

If I wanted a Tesla-style screen, I'd buy a Tesla. No thanks for my Jags.

I have one in my XJ, and did a write up on it in another thread. This is actually my third android head unit that I have installed in my Jag. Major issue I am having right now, is the hazard lights not working. Also, you will lose the valet function, and access to the Ipod and USB from the center console. I am thinking the problem with the hazard not working is a canbus issue, because I can unplug and plug in the connector to get it to turn on, and then do the same to turn it off. If I can't fix the hazard light issue, I will have to go back to my previous Android unit. Which would be a shame, because there is so much I do like about the Tesla style unit.

Also, I don't know if the one from Canavie actually looks like that, but the top two buttons on the right on mine are the lock and unlock buttons, rather than the parking sensor and auto button.

I just bought one today and am going to attempt the install. I'll chronicle everything while doing it. I also have the 360 camera system that I will attempt to add. So far the only issues I see when having this is that I'll need a 4G sim card (maybe that's better than using the hotspot while I'm driving around) and that I'll have to drill into my car (side view mirror cameras).

It does seem a bit better functionally than the Jaguar system (atleast in my mind). Granted, this would also make my one ideas that much easier as I am looking to install a FLIR thermal camera in the front of my car to help pick out the deer in the woods near my house. But, for the $1000, not sure if I am willing to spend that kind of money for something that has those looks. I wonder if it would look better if you say wrapped the trim in a vinyl to make the wood trim?

I will not take it even though they give it to me for free. Obviously its made in China. To some people, it may look good, but what about the sound system? You install it, if it sounds like a tin can, then I'm sorry.

I fitted one had loads of problems with it.
Spent around 3 months dealing with China trying this then trying that
I found that on a clear sunny day day you just could not see the screen
sent if back for a refund in the end

The sound was actually fine. However, I had already replaced all my speakers, added two amps and a subwoofer.

I have been told that the 2021 is capable of providing wireless CarPlay. This was mentioned to me when I was transferring the smartphone holder from my 2017 at the time of purchase. They specifically said, "there is a software update in the works..." Just curious if any one else if aware of this?

Reading all the above: A lot of work, a lot of troubles, not working properly.

Looking at it: Very ugly and plastic.

If you want to feel like driving a Subaru or whatever, you even could consider putting it, but I want to drive a Jag.
With a good, nice and wellworking cellphone in the coffeecupholder maybe, ok, but a Jag anyway and distinguished.

So, a no go!
