Very informative place and lovely place to be - just like a Jaguar

I ditched the Range Rover Sport idea and bought myself a 2014 Jaguar XJ - took both today for a spin and the wife said "the Jaguar its way better in terms of confort. I know the Range is more pratical in everyway but the Jaguar is such an incredible indulgence".

And I've just turned 40 years old so time to indulge myself

Congratulations, the XJ is a superb automobile, luxurious, and fun to drive. What more can one ask for

 

wife is midly happy but thats a start. last time I bought a big car ( 750Li ) she wasn't happy the whole time, was a nightmare.

this time, was different. she liked the Jag and the fact shes pampered on it. so thats a big big start. and I honestly love the car

I can't wait to pick it up. and thanks for your help in the "daily driver" thread you are 1% of the reason that I bought it, so your "fault"

plus side : we are continents apart

 

The important thing in any marriage is to keep the wife happy, or at least try and keep the wife happy. This is not at an easy thing to do, since men are from Mars and women from Venus, so we are very different in many ways. A saying in my country (and I am sure most others) is: "a happy wife, is a happy life".

 

Two big cats. Both superb, luxurious, and fun to drive - especially with the top down.
