Default Are these broken?

Hi Gents,

I open the boot after a heavy rain and found this. My English is bad and I don’t know how this piece of plastic is called. As I did not get the XJ brand new I do not know how they were looked like in the begining. Just could anyone check yours if they looked like below as well. Are they meant to look like this, will the rainwater get inside?

Cheers
Emmanuel

Looks normal to me - no problem. Are you seeing water in boot/trunk?

Thanks hafren.

The boot is completely dry. but I don’t know if there is water retained underneath the cover and if it would cause any problem in future?
