My touchscreen went black. Radio works. Ac works but can not change modes. Cd and cdc work. Once in a while screen will illuminate. Problem started after battery failed. Was never the same since. Any suggestions? Thank you Will K.

 

Hi - welcome to the site. You may find that more people know about your car if you post in the correct sub-forum: this one is for the 2010-on X351 - I believe that yours would be here (click link), but I am not 100% sure. Have a look around.

 

Odds are that your battery is weak. Have it load tested and, if necessary, get a new one. Make sure that any new battery is fully charged when installed, as many new batteries discharge while sitting on the retailer's shelf waiting to be sold.

thanks. I checked the battery and even though it stsrts and runs car well only had 11.3 volts after car shutdown.😋
