I need to find all the VIN numbers that are stampled on my car. One is in the engine bay. Does anybody know where to find the others? How many are there?

The full VIN is normally visible through the windscreen on the bottom LH side via a little 'window' in the black part of the screen. May be RH side on LH drive cars, though, so check it out.

 

Don't know exactly where they all are on the XJ, but here is a list of most common places where the VIN is:

- On the door frame/door post of the front doors (usually driver's but sometimes passenger's)
- On the dash near the windshield
- On the engine itself (machined pad on front of engine)
- On the car's firewall
- In the left-hand inner wheel arch
- On the steering wheel/steering column
- On the radiator support bracket

Now days, I would think most major parts of the car have the VIN either stamped in it or have a sticker with the VIN on it to prevent theft.

Just curious why you are trying to find all the VINs and what you are trying to do with them?
