Hi

This seems like a simple question but I am struggling to understand it. I know the VIN of my X351 and I want to find a part for it, I used SNG Barratt's website (thanks to them) and found the right part but there are three options for different VIN ranges as per the screenshot...



...I thought the last 5 digits of the VIN would match but mine starts with a 1 so none of them match and I am now confused. It being a 2018 vehicle I expect it is in the from V93510 range but how do you work this out please?

You need "From VIN (V93510)" as you are newer and beyond the 100,000th X351 XJ VIN. The last five digits are sequential, I believe instead of "V" your VIN should be "W" as V99999 --> W00001.

 

Thanks, that makes perfect sense, I knew it would be obvious but I could not work it out You are right my VIN does start with a W, I did not realise they made so many X351's, more than 120,000 according to this Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust
