VIN M45254 or M45255

When looking for engine or other parts, often vendors ask if my VIN M45254 or M45255.
My VIN is actually: SAJEB01T13FM45374 . Would that belong to M45255? since its higher number? or is there a different logic?

The parts are TO VIN M45254 and FROM VIN M45255 ONWARD.

Your VIN is M45255 ONWARD. (M45374 is later than M455255 by over 100 cars)
