Default Web Browser in Infotainment Centre

Sorry if this has been addressed but I can't seem to find it so thought I'd post. Whilst waiting for someone in a grocery store, I decided to try out the web browser in my 2018 XJ. Never really had a need for this but thought since I didn't feel like dealing with grocery store crows on a weekend, I'd sit in my pretty cat and watch some roller coaster videos (did I mention I'm a huge roller coaster fan?)

So I navigate to youtube, punch in the name of a roller coaster I've ridden and wanted to relive whilst waiting. The web browser greeted me with "Your web browser does not currently recognise any of the video formats available".

Anybody else experience this or am I the only one who tried to watch YouTube in my car? It's not a big deal, I doubt there's many instances I'd need the web browser but on this particular day, it was a bit irritating. Couldn't even listen to Spotify whilst waiting as that was removed from In Control which I need to contact my dealer about upgrading for Apple Play.

An old thread but I have the same issue with my 2018 XJR
I loaded a sim card and tried to watch a you tube vid but I just get an error saying browser not supported, or there's a problem with the security certificate.?
Any ideas please anybody ?

Propably the web browser needs to be upgraded for modern version, but XJ infoteinment are based an closed QNX embedded operating system what makes task i bit tricky. I have peeked the system files on HDD during the rescue of failed map upgrade for few y 2010-2013 units, but it might not be as simple as just change program files...?
One thing come in my mind: Are your vehicle system date and time settings correct?

The default web browser is too much slow. Try AI BOX. It connects via CarPlay, but you can use all the features of Android. You can watch NetFlix as well as YouTube.

It's pretty simple. Buy an AI BOX. A company like CarLinkit is a good example. You plug in the USB and you're done. You can find many video on the YouTube like this :
