Another day another new question, on 2014 xjl when I activate the
seat heating/cooling feature I am hearing a whirring sound thru out the car.
I tried each setting and it occurred on all levels. Any ideas my friends

 

Well there is a fan in each seat to distribute the air and you probably are hearing them.

Thank you for your input, i know there are fans but until now
they worked efficiently and more importantly quietly. Is this something
that can be replaced. Guess I like a nice quiet interior when I am not
blasting the music. Again thanks. Maria

 

There are filters on the seats, have you ever had them replaced during a service?

 

Thank you I did not realize there even were filters.
Dealer told me to record sound and they could tell if it was
problematic or just normal. My response; if I did not hear it before
and I hear it now its problematic!!!! I have appointment next week.

I don't know? I have had 3 different cars with AC seats and all of them use small fans so it will hard to get away from that.
