Roof Pop
I just returned my XJL for a full refund yesterday. The dealership has extremely competent techs, but could not " permanently " fix the roof as some have suggested on this forum. The dealership even went beyond the suggested repairs from Jaguar.
I really believe that the car is a remarkable automobile, but there is a problem at the engineering level.
Had it not been for the excellent attention and advocacy I received from Byers Imports, I would still be one of the many in the " Roof Popping Nation ".
Thank you Byers Imports!

If the 2012 model has the roof pop issue resolved, and maybe has a better, more responsive, faster and more easy-to-use and intuitive center cluster/nav system, I'm buying one.
The jag has this great aluminum body technology but since they use rivets that might be the issue on the roof popping noise thing. The "L" body is probably twisting more than it should, causing these pops.
This car would sell a lot better if these annoynances weren't present. I say this because I would be in line to buy one.
