This is from the Jaguar shop manual for a 2010 XFR with the 5.0L engine.
Should be the same for all 5.0L engines but as always be on the lookout for some minor differences on your car.

This includes the RH and LH cover. Not sure you absolutely need the special valve cover alignment tool or not as that's deeper than I have gone into these 5.0L engines. But the instructions are similar to other engines I have worked on and do follow the instructions for applying the small bits of silicone sealant in addition to the gasket.

Maybe one of our more experienced members can answer the special alignment tool question?

Note this document is in the list I uploaded above.

Default Repair Manual V6 Petrol

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find the location of the fuel pressure sensor for the V6 petrol model but haven't been able to find any information. I searched for a repair manual as well but could only find ones for the V8 and diesel models
but non for the petrol V6.

Does anyone have a link to a repair manual for the V6 petrol version?

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Frank

So I realized that I have 2 manuals, I believe they are the original 2 posted to start this thread. These also seem to be the only ones floating around the WWW. However, the 2010-2012 is diesel only, I believe, and the 2014 version seems to have nothing related to the engine. In fact, it is really odd that it has everything but that. I am looking for something that covers all aspects of a petrol V8 5.0 SC. Does anybody know of where anything exists?

EDIT: Sorry, to be more specific, I mean there does not seem to be any engine diagnostic pinpoints or steps like there are for other components (something as simple as "Crank, No Start", etc.

Was working on my XJ's brake system today and needed torque specs and more details I couldn't find anywhere. Stumbled across this site which has been absolutely phenomenal for workshop manual and procedures!

The one I posted does work.

If not for you, it's to do with your device/ISP/etc.

Yes that Charm site is a good one but is still missing a lot of manuals. They do appear to be adding to the pile so maybe as time goes on all the manuals will show up on Charm.

I have had some requests so I have uploaded a number of manuals that I have again.
Here is the list:

Link to the above documents;
Again it will only be live for 7 days. Get it while you can!!
Some Jaguar Manuals

PS; Limewire I have heard of but they must have fallen on hard times! Their stock price is just 3 cents.

I have had another request for manuals. This is the same set of files as I posted above. The free link will be good for 7 days. Get it while you can!
Also don't forget that charm website posted above as they have manuals too and hopefully will be adding more.
