XJ 2010. Removed battery to charge unable to open boot. RESOLVED
hello all,
i have just purchased this car ,after driving home i sat on the drive way and tried setting up the satnav, audio setting ,seat position etc after this the car wouldn't start, guessed the car wouldn't start because the battery was flat, ( car didn't try and start, but dash illuminated.) i disconnected the battery and connected a charger to the battery .(thinking this would be best for the cars electronics ......) now i can't open the boot to connect the battery !!! feeling frustrated !!! tried what the manual says about connecting to the lug in the fuse box with a 12v supply ,no good guess this is because the battery is disconnected ? and help would be greatly appreciated . thanks.
