Air suspension motor no power
I have a 2004 Jaguar xj8 with 49,000 original miles. I stop using it for a few months. When I went back to use it I notice that the vehicle was too low. I start it an it showed "vehicle too low and air suspension malfunction". I barely use this vehicle so I just don't understand why it went down. I check and I see no leak. I use a scanner to bring the vehicle up but nothing happens. I notice that when I start the vehicle I don't hear the compressor turning on. I check for power in the compressor and there is none. Check fuses and they are all good. I lift the vehicle to see if the system will activate but nothing happened. What am I missing. Help please.
The Achilles heel of the X350. I have considered buying one but only if it already had the conversion to standard suspension.
Ultimately I like the looks of the 300/308 better. The 350 began the age of bulkier-bodied cars, while maintaining some traditional styling. And the 351? Damn, its fat!
The 300/308 used to be a full-size sedan. Now it looks smaller. Aside from its length.................
