Brake Pedal Switch Failure

Brake Pedal Switch Failure
Recently I noticed that my brake light have been failing. As I read the forums someone mentioned that if the switch on the brake pedal is bad then it would not release the car from park into drive.
Yesterday I noticed the switch to release the park was intermittently failing so that means the switch on the brake pedal needs to be replaced.
the switch is $75!!!!! That is pretty expensive.
Can anyone suggest where to get it for cheaper.
Thank You

I recently checked mine out, and considered replacing it since I was having problems with tail/brake lights activating. I assumed it would be a cheap part as I've replaced a few on various Hondas and Mazdas...$75 is a bit steep.
I wonder if there isn't a way to retrofit a cheaper alternative...
