My bumper had some fairly bad damage I just repaired. Our bumpers are made out of yellow plastic polyurethane that isn't used today and wasn't that common back in the 90s. So finding a body shop with the right tools that will do the job may be difficult . The ones I took mine to refused to work on it or warranty it if they did. After watching some videos on the matter, I decided that I am now a qualified YouTube service technician and fully capable of doing advanced body work so I ordered up the tools. I used the polyvance iron tip and their flex putty and welding rod but skipped the 200 dollar iron they sell and used a 19 dollar harbor freight plastic welding iron which worked good enough and their tip fit. What was surprising was how easy it was. Its basically like working with hot glue that dries rock hard. I was even able to fabricate two missing tabs that hold the splash pan on. So if anyone needs their bumper repaired this is not a difficult DIY job. One thing I discovered that the video doesn't cover is don't sand it with a power tool. It heats up fast and turns into a gooey burnt mess. You have to hand sand it back to shape. Its incredibly strong. I tried to break off one of the tabs and it wouldn't give. After filling and having a shop repaint it for 250 dollars it looks like a brand new bumper. Sorry for the bad photos I took but trust me it looks nice and it isn't hard to do!
