i have code 441 in my 1996 xj12 and i can not even find the system thanks in advance

 

P0441 is for the Evaporative Emission Control System, which collects and stores fuel vapors, in order to burn them in the engine when the right time comes.

There's some info on this website about the EVAP system and this code.

In the Jaguar Engine Management Manual, P0441 is listed as: "EVAP System Incorrect Purge Flow"

The possible problems, in order of likelihood:

EVAP valve sticking
EVAP valve blocked
EVAP purge hose blocked or disconnected
EVAP canister atmosphere vent blocked
EVAP valve failure
AIR pump stuck ON

Chances are it's an issue with one of the EVAP purge valves, their wiring or hoses. There's one purge valve per bank on the V12.
