Default Cooling hose kits sourcing

Has anyone found a good source of V12 cooling hoses? There are lots of shiny silicon ones online but I'm looking for rubber. I can see many can be fashioned out of similar hoses I can match to the stuff hanging on the wall in Napa autoparts etc, is that what most people are doing? There's that great big long one with lots of twists and turns on the left side of the engine bay that goes to where the heater spaghetti pipes are (I have one of those octopus hoses I found on ebay, I also found a good bottom hose with the heater threaded metal female section I'm using as a drain), what I need are all those wiggly top hoses...

I remember watching a video on Youtube where the guy had an XJ12 and he said he'd replaced what was a 300usd hose OEM with a Lexus one that fitted very well for far less. Was a guy in the US. But I don't know which hose it was. Sorry! Was a large cooling hose to the engine on the right side.

I think you refer to John Baker, and the Lexus hose is for power steering.

Yes. That was the video. My memory is getting worse. Thanks for clarifying.

I need one of those Lexus hoses for the power steering supply.

I doubt if you can find the small coolant lines attaching to the thermostat housings. They are of a different size at each end. Rather inconvenient. I used generic hose and spliced the two sizes together with a barbed brass adapter in between 2 shorter lengths. I have yet to replace the right 3-way coolant bleed hose, which will probably have to be custom made as well. 1/4" to 3/16" hose connections if I recall correctly.

Uro Parts for the main hoses and bypasses. Just plan on replacing them about every 5 years, no matter what.

I have found Moss Motors to be a great source. They sell Jaguar spec rubber hoses. And provide a two year warranty. I found the Holy Grail CCC6434 Coolant Bleed Hose - Radiator to Thermostat at a very reasonable price through them.
