Have been copying the copious amounts of info re hoses from various threads. I plan to print & compare lists, etc. & start ordering since all of the gaskets but one have arrived.

Questions:

1. Are there any differences in the hose list for the R vs. the super V-8s?
2. I may have been a bit too aggressive in removing hoses. I know that my car has rear climate control. If I disconnected all the hoses I could, is it likely that I may have disconnected something that may require getting outside of the engine compartment to replace at the other end?
3. Any other words for the wise much appreciated.

Hi Steve,

Jaguar only differs between n/a and supercharged engines, apart from the modifications done from time to time, so I would say no, no difference between R and SV8.

My car does not have rear air con, but if you have not touched the a/c or heater hoses for the rear climate control, there should not be anything outside the engine compartment.

There are threads in the forum that already list the hoses needed for the "valley job". Have made a comparison of your list with these?+

Thanks, Thomas. I don't think I've bothered any ac hoses. I'm reasonably comfortable everything is within the engine compartment. With the last gasket coming this afternoon, I hope to have some of the stuff reinstalled this weekend and be ready to start installing hoses when they start arriving in about a week.
