Hello

I am new to this forum and have a 1998 VDP and have an opportunity to purchase a 98 XJ6 for a parts car. From the pictures the interiors look the same. Is this correct providing the colors are the same. I was told that the XJ6 is short wheel based and the VDP is long wheel based and one of the items I do need is a rear window glass and I was told they are different P/N and won't fit. Can someone tell me the major differences please. Thanks for your help

 

your car is an X308 series, so move your post, (or repost), in that forum.

No inconvenience at all, sorry if my post implied it, but people only tend to look at the forums they know something about. I have owned a Series 3 XJ6 in the past, so you'll see me posting on that, plus this forum, as I have an XJ6 3 litre, (X350 model series).

You should get a better response from the X308 experts once they see your post.
