Default 1999 jaguar xjr power problems

Hello my name is andrew , and I bought a 1999 jaguar xjr with 100k on it. I will randomly lose power after parking and coming back to the vehicle , before the gauges would go crazy , and make noise , the seats will click back and forth , the windshield wiper will also start going , and this is uncontrollable when it does happen , almost like the ecm is bad ?? , and then recently I come back to a totally dead car, no lights no nothing , no horn nothing at all except the red light next to the gearshifter sporadically blinks , and sometimes goes nuts , the car starts when it wants to and has been very unpredictable , at times I'll get a power surge that dims all the lights and actually lose power to everything for a split second , if I disconnect the battery and reconnect it's like nothing ever happened until I turn the car off and try to start again, I'm wondering if anybody could help me , or has had any similar problems like this , and help is appreciated

Get your battery checked and tested properly.
