Default 2003 XJ6 Engine Coolant problem

I'm losing coolant and I can't see from where. It doesn't leak while running but only seems to happen when the engine is stopped and started.
Does anyone have any clues?

Check the expansion tank, where the small pipe enters it, they have a tendancy to break there and leak.

Also check the other end of that small bore pipe.It goes onto a connection on the main water rail, and this, too, can break. When it happened to me, (low coolant warning), I found this leak and drove to the shop to be told "you'll have to leave it with us until we can get the water rail" When I queried this I was told the connection could let go at any time and I'd lose all the coolant and possibly not notice and wreck the engine. When the water rail was being removed to fit the new one this connection broke off. I also had to have a new header tank as that end was leaking as well, the connection nipple having cracked halfway round.
