My 2003 XJ8 has recently started jumping from low into the next gear when I am starting off from standing still. If I am really gentle on the accelerator it is fine, but if I pull off quickly it thumps quite violently. No warning light on the dash, so I am not sure what it may be. It has done ~140,000KM. Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
